Design informatics provides several courses in the Bachelor focusing on the use of the computer in the design process. Students are introduced to para metric ,computational, performative design methods and strategies within the complexity of an integrated digital design approach. To cope with the fast developments in our field and the increased demands for better performing  and more complex buildings our courses are in constant development. A constant innovative approach  to  education is essential to cope with the changeling of the future.

We provide courses in the masters which focus on advanced computational design,  the use of computational intelligence in the design process in an integrated design environment  and the rationalization of the design process for digital manufacturing. International collaboration is a special focal point. Once a year the students will collaborate  together with  students from abroad in a design-build project.

Graduation projects are the crowning projects of the students. Design Informatics mentors multiple graduate students a year.  With a strong focus on performative computational design and  digital manufacturing the graduate students will be supported by the whole team of design informatics providing in-depth support  on the digital design process and innovated use of digital manufacturing. The result of several graduate projects where extended into funded research projects worked on by the former graduated students at Design Informatics
